Orangery Wins ‘Best Hotel Restaurant’ in Secret Diner Awards
The Orangery has won the coveted title of 'Best Hotel Restaurant' in the Secret Diner Awards!
The Secret Diner spent all of last year sampling cafes, bistros and restaurants all over the North East before announcing the winners at the end of 2015. He echoes the growing belief of many that 2015 was a “game-changer” for the North East’s restaurant industry and that nationally there is a general air of excitement surrounding the region’s food scene.
The review by The Secret Diner that led to the award described the Orangery food as “superb” and “excellent”, the Secret Diner also praises the exceptional staff at the hotel, adding “although the menu was a resolutely fine dining affair, service was unstarched, which made for a very enjoyable evening.”
